Sailing School
Sailing Days is an RYA
recognised training school based in Chichester Harbour on the Sussex and Hampshire
border.
Learn to sail and navigate safely in a modern 36ft yacht.
RYA Practical Courses take place in
the Solent, along the Sussex and Hampshire coasts to the West Country. Become familiar
with training areas such as Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole, Cowes and other Isle of Wight
Harbours
Our Principal , Malcolm Fieldhouse began sailing in Chichester
Harbour in 1967 whilst in the RAF and started Sailing Days in 1996 after a career in
teaching. He is also an RNLI Sea Safety Adviser and would be happy to do a free RNLI Sea
Check on your boat. Contact us to arrange an appointment.
You can hire an
Instructor for Own Boat Tuition on a daily basis or if your vessel is suitable, use it for an
RYA Practical course for yourself, friends and family.

place in our well equipped classroom in Westergate. See 'RYA Courses' schedule for dates
and costs or contact us so that we can arrange a course to suit your personal needs.
Courses can be arranged for sailing clubs.
We offer:
Basic Navigation and Safety, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster,
VHF/DSC radio, First Aid at Sea, Diesel Engine, ICC and CEVNI and Own Boat Tuition
